Stopping Current Steerpoint changing to next waypoint?

Hi.

 

Sometimes i am over the current Steerpoint engaging targets on multiple passes and the HUD etc will make the next waypoint the steerpoint although i am not finished over the area i am in.

 

Is there a way for me to make sure it doesn't change automatically?

Go to the Flight Plan Management page in the CDU and change the active flight plan from AUTO to MANUAL.

 

Either that or change from flight plan mode to mission mode.
