Help me get my stars and numbers back?

A long time ago I installed a skin mod which by a side effect stopped my numbers showing for russian and ukranian fighters, and also the stars for russian fighters.

I have uninstalled all my loman 2.1 mods, and loman 2.1 itself, I also manually removed all files from my ... /bazar/temp textures folder that remained. Still the numbers and stars will not appear. Can anyone help me?

this happened to me too, and I was not able to fix it untill the fresh install with FC.

It was a tan Su-33 skin that did it for me.....bastards.

It's the no-markings nomera.tga file - if it gets written into the .cdds then you can't get rid of it.

 

You need an original from somewhere, and then either to insert it into the .cdds or drop it in your TempTextures folder.

Thanks guys, Im hoping to get around it without re-installing as my original LockOn CD is many miles from here :D

So, would someone be able to send me an original nomera.tga so I can drop it into the temp folder (or insert to cdds archive if I can work out how), or can it not be extracted?

Yes and no.

The numbers and stars are back for SU27, the stars are back for all russian fighters, BUT the numbers for the 33 are still porked :rolleyes:
