LankNZ
Ok I had a quick look around but couldn't find any posts on this issue. Sorry if i missed it. These all were working about 6 months ago. I recently updated to DCS: World to 1.2.2 7575 and have been having an issue with the A:10C module and the Ka50 module. P-51 and Su25 work fine. When I boot up any mission in the Ka50 module, MP or SP it crashes and says DCS.exe stopped working. There is no crash log. I am running the latest patch module for this. When i boot up any mission in the A:10C module, MP or SP it load up but most of the A10 textures are missing and it is almost like I'm inside the seat. The wheels also sit a little under the ground and no friction is modeled so I skid round the tarmac like an ice skater. My friend is having the same issue with a older version of DCS World. I have run the auto updater and the repair tool to no avail. Can anyone help? I just want to fang round in that sweet chopper and pull the trigger while listening to Van Halen. LankNZ
I tried disabling all services and having no other programs running at startup to no avail. I am currently downloading the full 1.2.2 world install to try. I currently have the updated one from 1.2.1. Will post if I have any success
Weta43
Can you post the crash log ? Cheers.
LankNZ
There is no crash log. As soon as Black Shark loads it quits straight back out to the post mission screen. As soon as A10 loads the sim seems to function fine but the flight deck is missing textures, plane sits half in ground etc.
LankNZ
Ok I found a fix. I downloaded the full version of 1.2.2 and installed that. Before doing this I deleted all my ED registry files and everything referring to ED in my Program Files. Upon a fresh install after that it all worked as per usual. Hopefully this helps someone out in the future
