Schlapperklange Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) Hi there, I hope you can help me. I can't activate my BS2 upgrade version for DCS World. I made a complete reinstall. 1. installed BS1, activated and working (without patches) 2. installed DCS World (v1.2.2.7570) 3. installed A-10C, activated and working (v1.2.2.7570) 4. installed BS2 update version, but it says "wrong serial/key" when activating (v1.2.2.7570) I had BS2 upgrade working before. Why can't I use it with DCS world? Did I do something wrong in the installation progress? Please help me. EtherealN Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Are you absolutely positive that you installed the upgrade version of the module? The installer filename should then be: KA-50_bs1update_en_1.2.2.7570_69.exe If that is indeed the installer you used, please try this file: http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=74421&d=1354408106 Unzip and run it while ensuring that DCS World is turned off. Then start it again. YakobeGrizzlyLepotyv Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I had a similar issue and in the end I downloaded the newest version of everything that was available (modules for DCS World) and the issue resolved. _________________________________________________ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Vipers 406 http://www.vipers406.com/ 62nd Fighting Falcons http://www.62ndfightingfalcons.asn.au/ Jesus is coming, Look busy.
ishtmail Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 ED, would it be possible for you guys to add a second serial number in the BS2 upgrade installation activation? This way, us owners of BS2 upgrade would simply insert BS1 and BS2 serials into the activation window, and be done with it - without having to first install BS1 (and wasting 4 gigabytes of hard drive space on a game we won't even play).
