Hey mate, I'm residing in Brisbane and at Amberley AFB round Willowbank here have a mirage in the hanger in pretty nice condish the last time I saw it. Found an extensive history of what happened to a majority of the mirages. Also a look at the aircraftin question. :)

The frame rate drops to a horrific 2-5 FPS still when rockets hit the ground for me still I'm Pretty Bummed out by that. I have waited so long to get this update and am enjoying the new SU-27 Model but alas my biggest reason for not playing the thing that I Love to the most has made me a little bit disappointed. Well looks like I'll be waiting till 1.2.4 :(

rocket explosions as well as fires give me FPS death 7-2FPS it is terrible and has put me off playing a lot until patch.

When evading Russian IR missiles I fly very unpredictably and push the aircraft to the edge of it's evelope before stalling but knowing the launchers position to begin with is very important because missles you can't see are usually the ones that kill you. If i get a launch behined 3/9 I roll and dive before pulling back up this can increase the chance of the missles running out of steam before it can catch up and hit you. I think that you need to be familiar with what the aircraft can do before you get these manuvers right i.e. stall envelope max speed and pull up. But one things for sure, practice practice practice

Anyone else curios as to why we got a newsletter email detailing the 1.2.3 release notes and come a week later we've seen nothing of it?

I cannot play Black shark at all I get these frame rate death rocket strikes from mi-24's and I hate them. Man I hope this gets fixed with the next patch, this is a big issue.

We can all look forward to the Nevada map and the new engine that will bring higher resolutions to the sim just in time for 4K to become a home standard next year.

I had a similar issue and in the end I downloaded the newest version of everything that was available (modules for DCS World) and the issue resolved.

I have been looking into buying a development kit for the oculus Rift because of the amazing implementations that are possible with our beloved simulations. I'm sure that this won't be a small undertaking but I was thinking that if anyone has thought about buying the oculus systems or heard of it for that matter for maybe having some testers if I do purchase the dev kit. Does anyone know of there being an HD exterior pack coming? I tried to do it myself but just wound up breaking my textures :P

I was just flying some Su-33 when I looked at the exterior of the aircraft and saw that the textures was exactly that of the Flaming Cliffs 2 exterior textures. I went back to look at my HD texture pack for FC2 and found that they looked much nicer than that of FC3 so, I went about trying to find a way to put my FC2 HD textures into that of FC3 but alas I cannot manage it myself and I came here to ask for a bit of help. I have downloaded the correct version of black shark 2 and when I go to launch it, it tell me that my code is invalid?? I am positive that I downloaded the correct version I have no Idea what it's problem is and why it won't activate.

You think they look a bit weak but when i got to climb inside one and walk around it and touch it you do feel a bit fuzzy inside. A wise choice for the future on the Australian military's part.

I've had issues similar to what you describe before are you using the latest everything i.e. DCS: World, A-10C module Black Shark 2 etc. all some 8Gb's of DCS updates all moduals have to be at 1.2.1

The playground is the most fun ive had in a while in online servers hovering over newbies in the P-51 and what not. With Flaming Cliffs 3 coming out there will be some more longer term playground servers going up to test you abilities.

I have an eyefinity setup my self and I must say that if you have of those monitors sitting on your desk and in my case in aorner they get harder and harder to manage as the time goes on and I wanted to do somthing similar to yourself with a Racing Seat (I also play Racing sims) and mount my hardware on that to keep it nice and clean.
