New PC. BS denies serial number.

Hi , just a quick question.

 

I bought a new PC and installed DCS World, DCS -10 and BS2.

They show up in the menu as available, but won`t accept serial number when promptet. Serial numbers are visible in the "payment" part when I log in. BS1 is installed without patch.

Is this because I haven`t removed the progs on my old PC?

Were you on your last activation before you reinstalled?

 

Drastic hardware changes (such as a new PC) require a new activation (or to save an activation, a deactivation prior to changing the hardware).

Wigean, do both deny the serial number? If so, make sure to look in the top left of the activation window to ensure that you are entering for the correct product.

 

In the case of BS2, ensure that you have the appropriate module: if you have purchased an Upgrade license, you should double-check that you installed the Upgrade module. You'll see this through the installer filenames including the word "bs1update".

 

If the above does not solve this for you, what is the exact error message given?

EtherealN, I had installed the wrong files. Works fine now, 8 activations left.
