Jtac no WP (track and mission provided)

JTAC Will not give WP. Please check track and mission. Very simple mission to give it best chance. Jtac soldier on ground in front of three different groups or trucks. Each group(truck) is triggered to explode after 3min, 6min, 9min to simulate the player taking the unit out, this gives plenty of time for jtac dialog.

 

Two tracks, both are the same thing just noWP1.trk is fast forward with ctrl+z to get through the jtac dialog faster. There is no WP to confirm so the dialog gets stuck at IP inbound, you can only request brief, unable to comply, check out

 

You will also notice that jtac doesn't even appear in the comms menu when you start on runway. You must close the menu, and re open it.

Have you had any luck in sorting out, or replicating this problem?

 

I've just come back from BMS and jumped straight into a JTAC training mission I created; the JTAC is so bugged it's beyond belief!

 

An AFAC Predator is supposed to datalink me 10 targets (all with no mark). Some passes are OK, but on others it says 'no mark' in the 9line, then makes me go through the whole IP INBOUND routine and I get the option to turn his laser on, which doesn't even work once I've pickled. On the second pass of the same target I saw an option beginning with 'S' after the LASER ON command, this turned out to be a shortcut to my desktop - brilliant!

 

1.2.3 cannot come soon enough.

I have not bothered trying to figure it out as jtacs are being addressed with 1.2.3, what exact fixes/changes are in store I have no idea.

 

I have found however, that sometimes wille petes will come out sometimes after 30sec or sometimes after 5 minutes, regardless of the mission load, amount of units, jtac group assignments, etc.

 

As far as lasing goes, if the jtac lases a target, you can find it with your laser search (dms right..i believe...) It won't guide your bomb to the target, you'll need your laser for that, afaik.
