Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 (edited) From this thread, and attached trk and mis files it's appears that there may be some bug with the engine / prop models and probably other components of the p51d systems, causing it to explode when trying to start / stop the engine with winds above 14-15m/s, under certain circumstances. Around this lower values an aileron can be lost, a wing, etc... At 19m/s the airplane simply explodes when you crank the engine on start, or if you shut it down. Yet, I should point out that I only faced the problem when I use the track or mission attached to that thread, and until now was unable to reproduce it even at much higher wind values at ground level!!! It's strange :-/ Edited January 7, 2013 by jcomm Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted January 6, 2013 Author Posted January 6, 2013 Ok, some more findings: 1) It really appears that this problem only happens when the wind component is strong and from near 6'clock 2) On the supplied mission and track, if we request ground power, strangely the engine does not explode Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
