Stone27 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Isnt the thrust in the F15 supposed to go to 110%? I cant get it over 101 with this damned X45 stick/throttle.
Exorcet Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Don't worry you're fine. The A-10C goes to 82% maximum, the F-15 likewise doesn't go all the way to the end of the gauge under normal use. Awaiting: DCS F-15C Win 10 i5-9600KF 4.6 GHz 64 GB RAM RTX2080Ti 11GB -- Win 7 64 i5-6600K 3.6 GHz 32 GB RAM GTX970 4GB -- A-10C, F-5E, Su-27, F-15C, F-14B, F-16C missions in User Files
Stone27 Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 Really? I thought it used to in older versions of FC. I used to be able to easily climb to Alt of 60,000 or higher. Cant get above 57000 now....

Cant get above 57000 now.... I'm pretty sure in older versions you couldn't max out either, but I don't remember, and it could just be that the ability to max it out was an error in FC2. As for altitude, aircraft performance was tweaked, so maybe that's it. RL 96% is average F100 PW engine maximum RPM. That is the easiest way to tell power. No gauge nor meter for "thrust". To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
blkspade Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 If you're the same Stone that was on the 104th server last night, trying to engage me 45k+, well you're doing it wrong. I engaged you from about angels 61 at one point. Your loadout and fuel state are limiting factors to trying to get above 57k. So is your level of patience. Really?
