Say Guys,

I'm using Simped F-16 USB rudder pedals. The pedals have toe brakes (x and y) axis.

I'm having a problem fully engaging either left or right brake. Looking at the Trim Axis window, both brakes appear to travel about 80% of their maximum when fully pressed. They work in the game but full braking power is not there.

Anyone else have this problem with Simped pedals (or any pedals for that matter)?

Should the brakes be set as sliders in the axis window?

Would lowering the "saturation" for both brakes help?

Thanks,

Update 1/19/13:

Experimented a little by assigning each brake axis as a "Slider" in the Trim Axis window.. now the left brake seems to be working better but the right brake only partially applies braking when fully depressed. Both axis only show about 80% when fully depressed. The axis are not "inverted" (should not be with the Simped rig).

Could use a little help diagnosing the problem and solution.

Update 1/20/13:

I think I solved the "80%" problem by re-calibrating the brake axis in Win 7. Both brakes now reach 100% of their axis value. The brakes are asssigned as a "Slider" in the Controls-Axis "Tune Axis" and appear to be working as such when viewed using Control/Enter.

I had calibrated the brakes previously in Windows (7-64bit) and I don't know what (if anything) changed now to allow the 100% axis travel. If anyone else is having issues with the Simped F-16 USB toe brakes, post here or PM me and I'll try to describe just what I did to calibrate the brakes.
