Maachine Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) hey guys, i have bugs. i'm trying to set up snap views only to find out that the cockpit view buttons arent working (Ralt plus number pad is the only one working, the rest dont work at all). LaltC only lets me zoom in and out and doesnt let me look around the cockpit via mouse. plus my simple comms key has never worked (i know about the option). buggy....... so remove and reinstall, i can save my key config and joystick profile right? what do i need to do to keep my snap views? Maachine Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 ok so i saved all the options i'm sure i have changed so far. but there is also another problem. sometimes i have issues with sounds. like bitch betty started yelling at me, then at the same time i got the beep beep beep when you hit the joystick too hard. when this happened my computer froze up. it took almost a whole minute to recover. i've had issues with this in the past too. when playing with the radio buttons, and you get that solid tone when you go below 110.00? well it would freeze up when that noise kicked in. i found that it was my toshiba stack bluetooth driver that caused that. it messed up my computer pretty good after the third time. reinstalled the drivers and everything was good until now. will reinstalling DCS fix this you think? this goes along with the other problems i've been having. simple comms button and the views issue. windows7, 4 gb ram, nvidia geforce 330m 1 gb video, i7 toshiba a660 laptop (i know.....i'm working on a desktop) with all standard drivers. only windows upgrading i have done is for windows files and not hardware drivers.
Maachine Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 reinstall done. fixed nothing. my joystick profile isnt working either. not a big deal cause i am chainging it soon to a x52 profile as soon as that stick shows up. still, simple comms isnt working. know that for a fact. anyone? ideas?

Maachine Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 i'll wait till the x52 shows up, then do a complete wipe of the game, re-install, see how it goes after that. bummer.....cause i really like the A2A training mission. i even got a freeze up with the A2A tone that happenswhen you lock on to a target. but it only lasted like a second. this game is a constant learning curve to learn how to play and learn how to make it function........ i'll keep posting as i try to get any fixes
