JozMk.II Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Hi, I would like to know how to alter the elevation of the default center view in the cockpit of a DCS aircraft. I don't like the downward angle of the default center view in the A-10C; I'd prefer that it were more level with the HUD. Can someone tell me how I might alter the default center view of an aircraft in the game files?
PeterP Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) Option A) use this instruction: http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/Snap_views and disable/pause TrackIr while setting a new default view via the num-pad keys. Option B) open up ...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\View\SnapViewsDefault.lua with a proper editor (Notepad++) and go to line #1038 example: Snap[11][13]["vAngle"] = -12 --< tilt up/down in degrees. Edit this number to your liking. further improvements and more info how to change the in-cockpit view: Reworked Cockpit Views with proper Neck Edited January 19, 2013 by PeterP
