JG14_Smil Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Hello, This bug concerns DCS World v1.2.2.7570 and latest BS module. The "free-turbine RPM governor" switch is located on the KA-50 collective (BS manual, page 6-9, item #1). Bug: When setting RPM from "nominal" to "low", the rotor warning "zebra" lamp should blink and it does not (as listed in BS manual at page 9-15, "Rotor RPM readjustment check"). This function has worked in past versions of BS and is quite an important item. Flying with RPM set to low can cause a crash of the helicopter in some conditions due to the reduced power output. To reproduce this bug: Choose Instant Action/Take off Belsan, go on the runway with all systems running. Observe correct RPM drop, but lamp shows nothing when switched to low. Related bug: The checklists provided in BS manual at pages 12-2 do not include this important pre-flight check of the "Rotor RPM readjustment check". I did not include system info or track file as I have asked others to test this before I reported it. I can do so if needed. Thanks for any consideration. Edited January 21, 2013 by JG14_Smil
