Home Fries Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 I used Grimes' suggestion in this thread to spawn AI aircraft for clients that are not utilized in a multiplayer session. I also use the Time Less than 30 seconds parameter to ensure that the AI don't spawn when a client buys the farm. However, at a base like Batumi with only 10 parking spaces, I need to either start the AI at "takeoff from runway" or start them airborne. This begs the question: if I start AI from the runway, will they all spawn in sequence, even after the initial 30 seconds are up, or do I need to increase my time for the trigger to be available? Is there a regular interval at which aircraft spawn on the runway? How many aircraft can I reasonably start this way without getting lots of aircraft backed up at the ramp (this isn't FSX, after all ;) )? Does anybody have any rules of thumb regarding these questions? I'm getting started in mission design, so I haven't figured these out for myself yet.
