Sending and receiving SPI

I was flying the Last Hope Mission with a buddy and I'm trying to teach him about setting a SPI using the TGP and then slewing your MAV page to the SPI in order to send AGMs to your SPI.

 

I found a video on youtube on how to send your SPI to another aircraft. Basically it stated, establish your SPI and then make the TAD SOI and slew the cursor over the other aircraft. Then hit TMS up short to get the net ID to show up under the SEND OSB. Then select the SEND OSB to send the SPI to that aircraft.

 

That all worked fine. My question is, is what is the other aircraft supposed to do with this information? It shows up on the other aircraft's TAD as a new task and a red diamond and not a white wedding cake. If anyone can explain to me what you are supposed to do once someone sends you a SPI I would appreciate it.

I have spend a lot of time practicing SADL with a buddy of mine, have made a small pdf guide. Its simple and can fit on a single page of paper, this way its easy to print out and use while flying.

TAD as SOI

slew the TAD cursor onto the red triangle and hook it - TMS FWD short

make the hooked target SPI- TMS FWD long
