golfsierra2 Posted December 4, 2005 Author Posted December 4, 2005 when i play the clip i can't see any video, just hear the audio and media player displays the visualisations for the audio... tried Video Lan Client as well, no joy... I also have the Cole2k media codec pack installed. Anyone shed any light on exactly what codec is needed to display the video? Sorry 112th_8bit, I didn't produce the clip. Can't help you. I can play it with my version of Win Media Player 9, which is Version 9.00.00.2980, and it was granted access to te internet, so it might have downloaded the matching codec itself. Dunno. kind regards, Raven.... [sigpic]http://www.crc-mindreader.de/CRT/images/Birds2011.gif[/sigpic]

It requires the Indeo codec, can be hard to find these days, but should be available from here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Indeo_Codec.htm You can use a program like AVIcodec to find out what codec a certain movie uses (http://avicodec.duby.info/) /Axl
