Skorp Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Hello to all. Well, I have a hardware simulating MFD´s an ICP (Falcon) conected to a secondary Pc and a LAN software to send the keystrokes to the master Pc, with DCS A-10C. My problem is, for example, that if I use G key, all Ok.....the gear up and down. But if I use ALT + G with the same funcion, nothing happens:joystick:. I´ve seen this problem occurs with all the kaystrokes wit ALT, CTRL or/and SHIFT modifiers. What is happen? What I´m doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
Skorp Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 Well, more info. In Setup -> Controls....yes...I push the button with ALT+CTRL+1 assigned and that is the combination I see pushed and the function assigned. But into the cockpit, nothing only appears I pushed 1. Any idea? Thanks
Skorp Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 Well. I´ve made a HTML export of the controls Can anyboy explain me this line? "Num1 - Num1 - Num1 - LCtrl - LAlt" Left MFCD OSB 11 Left MFCD Why Num1 three times? Is posible this is my problem with the modifiers? Thank you in advance
brydling Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Looks like that is your problem. Try assigning with your regular keyboard to get only one Num 1. Skorp Posted February 15, 2013 Author Posted February 15, 2013 Thanks for the answer...:) Then, this line want to say when I push the button the keypress combination has three NUM1? If this is true, is there anyway to only "push" one NUM1? Thanks in advance
brydling Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I believe so. I cannot answer that question, since I know nothing about what software you are using to read your switches and to send keystrokes to the DCS PC. If one keypress generates three presses on Num 1 I think you must have assigned something wrong somewhere. /Niclas Digital-to-Synchro converter for interfacing real aircraft instruments - Thread Check out my High Input Count Joystick Controller for cockpit builders, with support for 248 switches, 2 POV hats and 13 analog axes. GregP Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 One of the A-10C patches, maybe 1.1.0.9, changed the way DCS interprets keypresses from outside the sim; whereas sending, for example, LCtrl+S, used to work with no problem, DCS now requires that a finite pause be added between the LCtrl and S in order to see both. I ran into this problem on my X-Keys Pro. The solution was to add pauses (50 ms worked for me) between modifier keypresses, so if you can do a similar thing in your program, that will probably fix it.
Skorp Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 Thank you GregP. I´m using the web server tool coded by Monster, that runs perfectly for Falcon4 and Xplane, and as far I´m not a coder I´ll look for a solution to add the delay, I don´t know what but....there is no another way. Best regards
