59th_Bird
Hi Loz, thank you for your advice! At first I did it without any success (after patch 1.2.3 updated). Than I made a mistake. I've done an uninstall and a clean reinstall of DCS and Helios and I deleted all the folders... but I put all the .lua files I've previously created and worked into the game folders (Not form backup.00 folder but from my own save folder). After I red this topic I've done everything, step by step. I've created a new Helios profile (from yours!) too. Nothing works. Loz
If that's the case then all I can suggest is you double check you Monitor Setup ......lua file and make sure that it is this one that you select in the options menu. i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. 59th_Bird
Do you mean my own created monitor setup...? I named it birdsetup.lua and this is what I use in the game. _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('BirdSetup'); Description = 'BirdSetup' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1.7777777777778; } } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 3180; y = 0; width = 420; height = 420; } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 1920; y = 0; width = 420; height = 420; } CMSC_SCREEN = { x = 2677; y = 124; width = 185; height = 40; } RWR_SCREEN = { x = 2445; y = 141; width = 150; height = 150; } DIGIT_CLOCK = { x = 2340; y = 726; width = 102; height = 102; } UHF_PRESET_CHANNEL = { x = 2510; y = 610; width = 70; height = 25; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center TM Warthog no.00128
Loz
My suggestion was that you make sure that your Birdsetup was selected in the Sim "Option/System/Monitors" Simple I know, but it sounds like something simple if you have already had it running before. i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. 59th_Bird
I selected my monitor setup in the game at the beginning. It surely my mistake, I did something wrong. But what did I...? TM Warthog no.00128
59th_Bird
Hi Loz, I've downloaded and tried the new version of Helios, but my cockpit panel still doesn't work. Do you think that a full uninstall-reinstall procedure (DCS World and DCS A-10C) will help...? TM Warthog no.00128
Loz
Usually when none of the instruments indicate, it is a problem with Helios not being interfaced correctly with the Sim. In the profile editor with your profile loaded check "Profile Explorer/Interfaces/DCS A10C" this should give you a window with Properties, Third Party Scripts, and A10C Setup. Firstly make sure the install path is correct for your "eagle dynamics\dcs world\" folder and that you have a button "Remove Helios Setup" in the bottom right hand corner of that window. If not it will say "Setup DCS A-10C", so click on this to install. Try this and see how you get on. i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. 59th_Bird
It was the first thing that I've done after I installed the new version of Helios, but nothing has changed. The gauges are still motionless. Today I'll try a clean install of all the softwares (DCS+Helios)... TM Warthog no.00128
59th_Bird
After a full uninstall-delete everything-reinstall Helios works fine. I'm so happy... :) Loz, thank you for updating Helios! TM Warthog no.00128
