lunaticfringe Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 Alright, fixed this. Post update, the game appeared to have selected something below "low" quality values in its configuration. Click the "high" button, then reset your choices as required, and you'll be back in business without the errant geometry. Hope this helps someone else.
lunaticfringe Posted March 1, 2013 Author Posted March 1, 2013 Just wanted to further note (in case anyone else experiences the same) that this is directly tied to Visual Range; "Low" triggers the geometry, "Medium" or "High" does not.
lunaticfringe Posted March 4, 2013 Author Posted March 4, 2013 That's not merely "Low" Visible Range; *THAT* (with the missing materials, as opposed to LVR which only adds additional geometry in the HUD) looks to be the normal errant license/activation issue that causes textures to not appear because of their being protected by DRM. Might want to maybe check your installs...
71st_Mastiff Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 make sure scenes are high and textures high and cockpit res at 512, no everyframe. "any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back", W Forbes.
