vJaBoG32 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I´d bought FC3 but on the payment process, the browser (IE 9.0) hang up. PayPal confirmed the succussfully transaction, though. Unfortunately, no Key is listed in my Payment Profil. Transaktion code: TXNVI1C02GOQWMKH7C Ticket path: http://support.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/19442 Thanks for Help, indeed! Jona33 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I assume you've checked your email (junk and spam folders)? Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

vJaBoG32 Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 Errr???? Jona, i wrote every Info you ask in the first top Quote. I also did post a Support Ticket on DCS months ago as you can see. I asked PayPal - they they the Payment was successfully. I also asked SAGE - they told me i have to talke to the Vendor. I payed for a product which i still don´t have - this is ridiculous. Can now someone really take care of this issue? THANKS! With kind regards, Staff of Virtual JaBoG32 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
EtherealN Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Hello asticher, I'll send a message to the support division to look into this. Unfortunately, "bumping" of tickets (as you have done) does delay action since it causes the new date to be affixed to the ticket. I will give the ticket number directly to support to skip you ahead of the queue. Have you checked the locations indicated in the first two posts of the following sticky? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=57556 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester

vJaBoG32 Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 Good, thank you Ethereain. Yes, i checked the FC2 payment site (no key) and looked for the Link in the FC3 Download Area, but no key in sight. Note: I strongly suggest that DCS separates tickets for tech. support and for billing problems. A tech prob can wait a month. But when it comes down to money you have to react fast - nobody on this planet is patient or joking with this. With kind regards, Staff of Virtual JaBoG32 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

But when it comes down to money you have to react fast - nobody on this planet is patient or joking with this. This is already in place, however your bumping of the ticket in question caused the system to sort you with a delay. (This is a technical limitation of support systems, since they require sorting of potentially hundreds or more tickets.) FC3 purchases would not show on the FC2 site. You would be looking at the DCS site since that is where FC3 is purchased: If you can confirm that there is nothing there I can make sure support knows about this fact when they action the ticket. (Avoiding that they have to ask you.) vJaBoG32 Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 The Screenshot is little wrong i guss. There is only a Payment Link unter FAQ. The Subject "Payments" is only listed below "User Support". And yes there is NO Key of FC3, only Keys for BlackShark and P51 Mustang. THX With kind regards, Staff of Virtual JaBoG32 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Koriel Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Same issue here I have the same issue. No need to open another thread. I purchased FC3 this afternoon. After I completed the Paypal transaction and had already received the Paypal confirmation the DCS website showed an error 002 Transaction failed message. Under Payments I can see my A10 and BS2 serials, but not for FC3.. My ticket number: 19825 It contains the Paypal payment info and transaction number. Seems like there might be an issue with the webshop.
EtherealN Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Thanks Koriel. I'll ask someone to look into the transaction ASAP. Very sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully it is just a glitch, but otherwise you will of course be credited with your serial number as soon as possible. Expected response times, as mentioned in the ticket system, is 48 hours. Purchases are normally "instantaneous", but here an actual error has occured. If I understand the technical side of this, paypal processed the payment before getting a solid connection to the merchant (ED) inventory. If this is correct, you will either have a key manually assigned to you as soon as possible, or the order will be refunded manually. Please, when I say I'm looking into it, please give me a little bit more than 3 hours in which to find the solution. :) Edited March 9, 2013 by EtherealN [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester

Please, when I say I'm looking into it, please give me a little bit more than 3 hours in which to find the solution. :) I know you are doing your best. It's just that in this day and age, I would expect an e-purchase to go through within seconds. And then having to wait days to get it resolved is just not good. It's Saturday now, so the earliest day I could expect a resolution is monday. That means a whole weekend wasted. Well wasted is a big word, but me and FC3 had plans you see... ;-). I was planning on spending time with it. Monday I'll be gone on a 7 day trip to freezing Helsinki.. so even if it's resolved monday, in my world it means that after purchasing a simple online key, I had to wait 10 days minimum before I could actually use it. And regarding the Paypal complaint, Paypal will start a line of communication with the seller. If there is no solution there, then Paypal will refund me. Paypals first action is having the seller and buyer to get to an agreement. So all is not lost. In the meantime I am levelling in War Thunder...
EtherealN Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 E-purchases do go through within seconds. What we have here, from how it appears, is a system malfunction. This means that we first need to figure out where the malfunction happened. I am told your transaction does not appear in the ED database (thus no key), which means staff must enter the Paypal system manually. (Indeed, within the information you affixed to your ticket, you actually had direct contact details to the relevant staff member. I will however make sure they are aware of the issue myself.) Error 002 basically means that at the start of the transaction, a sort of hash was exchanged between the servers. At end of transaction, the paypal server failed to produce the same hash. This can be either a system error somewhere, or an attempted hijack of the transaction. (Error being the most likely of course.) The "problem" here is that Paypal deducted your money even though there was such an error (which should have simply caused the transaction to fail already), but none the less you will of course either get a refund or a serial number. If I understand the system correctly, the refund is the most likely result. Txs, just looked at it after seeing your post. Apparently support is really busy.. might want to take a closer look at the cash register.. that's the place where the money comes in, and that seems to be failing...
vJaBoG32 Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 PayPal just managed to make a forced refund from ED - at least! Subject closed - hopefully forever. With kind regards, Staff of Virtual JaBoG32 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
