Hi!

 

I'm looking into two pet peeve bugs of mine, and I want to know

 

a) where in the game files the logic for which event triggers which sound lies. This is not in the Sounds folder: the sdef files only consider how the relevant sound should be played, not when.

 

b) which files contain the models/textures/shaders/whatever for the muzzle flashes of weapons. That is, I want to know where the actual flash lives.

The LoDs on some of them have been porked since standalone A10, and while I probably won't be able to modify these files myself, I'd at least like to try some simple replacement with old files.

 

Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.
