Hello

After installing P-51D i found it impossible to take take control over AI. Starting a mission, instant action or whatever AI starts the engine and takes of doing a short flight and lands. There is no cockpit view, F1 doesn't do anything. Outside views like F2, F3 etc do work.

You can fly the Su25 normally. Outside DCS World A10, Lock On and Flaming Cliffs work ok.

So far i haven't found a way to fly P-51D myself. Any ideas where to start solving this problem?

Win 7 Pro 64

Asus P6T SE

Intel i7 920 2,67 GHz

Radeon HD 5870

6Gb DDR3

PS.

Operating system reinstall and changing display adaptor to Nvidia solved the problem.

Everything working just fine now.

Try an instant action mission. Make sure you've got the right version number for the P-51 module so it matches the version of DCS World.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

sounds to me like you are still in the su25 "mode"...

when you hit for example the "instant action"-menu, make sure you chose the right mode...there are tabs appearing, dependent on the modules you have installed...make sure you click the correct one you want to fly..it should then be highlighted in white i think.

Last time I checked, you cannot try the P-51D without having bought it first. Unless I'm misunderstanding the O.P., he's asking how to try the P-51D without having bought it. Unless something's changed in the last few months, the answer is: you can't.

The product has been bought and paid and activated like my other ED software. On the opening screen P-51D does not have the dollar mark.

However, the installer did not ask the serial number (which i have) during the install. That made me wondering if everything is as it should be.
