I'm hoping someone can assist,

I've been reading through some Intercept Procedure guides and noticed the reference of initiating a "HAP turn" into the bogey or to a direction.

I can't find anywhere what this abbreviation means?

I've searched everything I have and google, but couldn't find it's meaning.

Does anyone know? Any link to it's reference would be appreciated also.

After some thinking and re-reading I believe its shorthand abbrev. for "Hard as possible".

I thought at first it meant High Altitude Performance, etc.. but it didn't fit with the action required.

Eg, recommit, throttle back, set mach and direct a "HAP" turn to bring the bogey back on the scope.

Learn't something new , thanks anyway. :pilotfly:
