Bucic Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) I've skeemed through many articles on the subject and checked out few so-called "google reader alternatives". Most of them are nothing but jokes. I'm talking even about those popular ones. No backup or export whatsoever - WHAT?!? Who the #%#$ would invest time into something without export functionality?! It seems hopeless to me and here I am, asking for help. Can anyone recommend a RSS reader meeting the following requirements: - web-based (an app only as a bonus ; Windows Phone app - a big bonus) - the web interface easily viewable on mobile devices (a special mobile version as a bonus) - features OPML import and export (other means of tranparent import/expor permissible) - does not require Google login and does not sync with Google - some basic decency in putting the user in control i.e. a reader with some funky "smart view" is unacceptable All other functionality a bonus. Already tried: http://portal.opera.com/ It has all of the above, but it seems an abandonware and has a huge delay in importing news (like an hour?)
