I recently re-installed DCS:World with the A-10C and Black Shark 2 modules, but when I go to multiplayer, the game asks me to authenticate my copy of BS2.

So I input my serial number, press next and I get the following error:

"Activation denied by server. Invalid Hardware Code. Make sure the Serial Number used is valid for the product you are trying to activate, generate a new Hardware Code and try again."

Now, I can fly the A10 and the SU25 no problem online, but I'd really like to also fly the Akula.

The DRM system tells me to generate a new Hardware Code, so how do I do that, and why would it tell me that it's the wrong code if my machine is the exact same one I had when I did the original installation?

Double check to make sure you downloaded the correct module. If you bought the upgrade, then you need the upgrade module, if you bought the full version then you need the full version. After you have verified you have the correct module installed, if you are still having issues, then you have a bad registry key. Follow EtherealN's instructions here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94531&highlight=invalid+hardware+code

I double-checked, and it was indeed the wrong version.

DCS:World is now working properly with the Ka-50 module.

Thanks for the help.
