159th_Falcon Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 If you have an infantry group in your mission that gets activated using a trigger. Then the infantry won't follow there assigned waypoints. They just spawn into the mission and sit there looking pretty. See attached mission for details. Oh, the group is supposed to spawn after the MI-8MT lands so you can fast forward about 2 or 3 minutes.infantry activation bug.miz [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
Grimes Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Stingers and manpads are not mobile. Remove those units from the group and the group will follow their waypoints. 159th_Falcon Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 Crap, the whole point was inserting MANPADS/STINGERS to key points in the hills by helicopter. Let them walk a bit then spawn some tent and "make" them a mini base. Any work around? i mean, in Ground Commander mode if you set a path they will follow it. So the MANPADS/STINGERS are capable of moving around. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
Grimes Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Hmmm, that is a work-around, but at the same time it appears to also be a bug as it affects things other than manpads. IMO manpads should be mobile, as all infantry in game should be. I've reported the issues to the devs. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
