Just bought it today. Should I be able to start the engines from the throttle base switches ?

Hi bobd. Congrats on your purchase.

To start the engine, you move the throttle from Off position to Idle. THe APU switch is also on the throttle base.

You would not be able to do the whole startup procedure using only the throttle base.

Thanks Wick, kinda odd. I would think starting would all controller or none. Love the HOTAS precision though.
