Spanker79 Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 At the mission editor there is a symbol -o- that it is described as "initial point object" but at the manual it is referred as "Create IP navigation point".. Can anyone tell what is its use at the mission editor-mission? Thnx... ◈ Lock-On Greece / DCS World Greece http://lockon-greece.forumotion.net/ 1st Hellinic Virtual Squadron for Flaming Cliffs & DCS World ~ Flying since 2008 ~
Grimes Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 For the A-10C the waypoints will show up in the CDU. The CDU stores up to 2000 or so waypoints and somewhere in there the IPs placed in the mission will be listed. When JTAC is used the JTAC will reference this point to give target bearings and other data relative to the nearest placed IP. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
