IADC Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Can anyone comment on if using monitors of slightly different sizes would have any adverse effect on the visual quality/performance? I currently have 1 Sycmaster 2693HM 1920x1200 monitor and would like to get two additional monitors to go with 3 screens. My choice for second monitors would Dell 2410 1920x1200. The only thing I can think of is the canopy frame would be out of line and possibly the picture quality might change some between the two brands.
metalnwood Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 I wouldnt woory too much about picture quality from one to the other. Obviously if the larger is in the middle they will not line up quite correctly. You could fix that by using softth, that will work with dcs world but it's uncertain that it will be a fix for the future with DX11 games. Something to keep in mind if this is a deciding thing to buy the extra screens.
