LSS mode on the tgp freezes the picture

When you go into LSS the picture in the TGP stays the same until you cancel LSS. I noticed while flying in the mountains, when in to LSS and turned 90 degrees away from target and was masked behind mountains, still the picture in the pod never changed.

Yep, and that's how it should be.

So the pod takes a snapshot of the view when you initiate LSS? Seem counter-intuitive, like you'd still want a live image while looking for the laser. I haven't tried having somebody lase a target and trying to mask the pod, (in the sim) will it still grab that laser spot while masked?
