Sabot Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 So yesterday the “Good Idea Fairy” struck and I upgraded to Windows 7 Professional. Fortunately Microsoft backed up my old windows before it overwrote it. Can someone tell me which file my key bindings were in? I have several DCS World Config files and I’m not sure which one is applicable. Thanks in advance
neverminded Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Hi Sabot, to be honest, do a clean new install of Windows. What version do you have now and what version have you had before (32/64bit)?
Sabot Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) I did do a complete clean/fresh install. Windows 7 professional 64 bit. I'm going to reinstall DCS World and the games. Prior to the fresh install of Windows I backed up my DCS folders. so if there were any missions or keybindings I could copy them into the new install What I was wondering is which folder has the Conf. file which has my previously mapped commands or do I have to start all over and redo everything again. cichlidfan Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I don't remember where that would have been stored under XP (Vista I have never used) but in Win7 they are under Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input.
