WildBillKelsoe Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 1- AI German P-51 fires all bullets in the air without a target after killing me. 2- AWACS giving clean messages and I run into a twin engine jet without spotting it in time by bogey dope. He slipped away and reached my base. 3- number 1 above also flies over the base after mission is lost. I go after number 2, land and he still comes and buzzes the field. 4- wingman not armed for mission? He spots an aircraft, I engaged all previous by myself. He does not comply. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
WildBillKelsoe Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 1.2.4 ED, what seems to be the problem with E-2? In red rover, it can pickup contacts fine right until the 3rd aircraft which is the JET that slips by. Is that a timing issue given that AWACs lands while mission in progress? Similarly, my wingman shoots all his canon and can land but can't rejoin after landing, without crashing himself. Should I align myself with the runway and move slowly so he stays on the tarmac?
