I use FRAPS to record my footage.

Bsr.LOCsta uses the in-game .avi tool.

I'd say we're the most frequent movie makers around at the moment.

Find out which of the 2 programs you would like to use and then feel free to ask either me or LOC, or anyone else on the forum, for help regarding movie making.

Cheers

yea, i have tried fraps but that makes so poor quality and it lags so much..

But do you know how to choose where to begin record a track with the video edit option in the game ? finally i was thinking about using "Avid pro" to edit my vids, think that can be pretty cool

Well, yes, you need a beefy system to make good use of fraps, but you can't really complain about quality, as fraps saves the footage as uncompressed .avi clips, same as the in-game renderer i believe.

But anyway, if you're going to use the in-game renderer, i can't be of much assistance, as i've never actually used it before.

I'm sure LOCsta will be more than happy to help you out.
