Bra1n Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Hey guys, first off thnx for taking time to read. Here is the situation. I've been flying A-10 for quite a while now, however most of my time has been solo (AI wingman). Last week I persuaded my friend to buy it. We been flying missions togeather with no problems untill yesterday. We are flying in very tight formation approaching two seperate targets and both of us have GBU 12 armed. Profile is set to CCRP mode with 10sec lase time and auto lase on. He has his targret marked with spi, and same with me. We both drop bombs at the same time, however instead of my GBU hitting my target it hits his. So is there a way to stop my GBU getting confused and hitting my own target instead of his? Bra1n

Bra1n Your GBU 12 spotted your wingman's laser. You have to use different lasercodes. Jimmytime Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 You'll also need to set your laser code to match in the TGP A-G Control Page. OS: Windows 10 64bit / MB: MSI Gamers Edge /CPU:Intel CORE I5 9600K @ 4.5 GHz/ RAM: 32 GB / Gfx: Geforce 980 GTX TI x2 in SLI /Drives:1 970 NVMe & 2x SSD RAID 0 /Joystick: Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog/ TrackIR 5/Saitek Rudder
Bra1n Posted May 3, 2013 Author Posted May 3, 2013 You'll also need to set your laser code to match in the TGP A-G Control Page. Yep i got that thnx :) although 1st couple of codes i made up didn't work at first, but then 1588 worked and gbu's hit their targets fine. Tnx for the help guys....
Evil.Bonsai Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Yep i got that thnx :) although 1st couple of codes i made up didn't work at first, but then 1588 worked and gbu's hit their targets fine. Tnx for the help guys.... someone once posted around here somewhere what codes were viable. I don't recall which, but they did seem a bit odd in values. As an aside, the codes only work with live players (ie, you and another human). Setup a short mission with an ai A10 with only gbu12s and as near as I could tell, there was no laser being utilized, though the bomb acted as though there was (in-flight correction) and hit target dead on.
