Do I still have to go through Steam to play BS2? or will it come through on th DCS World start up menu? dcds1 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 If you haven't bought the upgrade then save your money and just by the dcs world version of Black Shark. When I upgraded to Win 8 I found out that the Steam version no longer has a cd key attached to it. So I wasn't able to get the update to work or to integrate into DCS World. I ended up just purchasing the Black Shark DCS World module.
mr_mojo97 Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 Turned out I'd already bought the upgrade too! Must have had a few beers and forgot about it. Can't get it to work anyways. I reinstalled BS into world but with Steam it came with no key, and when I installed the upgrade the key I got with that doesn't work and keeps asking me to activate it. Suppose it serves me right buy going down the cheapo route. Although ED should really sort this if they're selling through Steam. I'm not that bothered about it, just fancied a chopper - gonna get one - Huey or BS?
