spikenet Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I have a buttkicker attached to my simpit seat and it works great plugged into the "sub" output of my amp. The amp is plugged into the PC using standard stereo output. My issue is when I use headphones I cannot use the buttkicker as the sub output is disabled. So, does anyone know how to get true 2.1 output from my PC? Currently use Asus Xonar DGX.
Polo Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Not sure with the Asus Xonar DGX, but on my Auzentech X-Fi Forte I have the buttkicker hooked into the front speaker output and have speakers not mute when switching to headphones. Also front speakers set to 'large' so that they output the lower frequencies. spikenet Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 ok thanks, I'll try that. Seems ridiculous you cant have true 2.1 output from these cards. stereo sound plus a discrete sub out.
