I have a buttkicker attached to my simpit seat and it works great plugged into the "sub" output of my amp. The amp is plugged into the PC using standard stereo output.

My issue is when I use headphones I cannot use the buttkicker as the sub output is disabled. So, does anyone know how to get true 2.1 output from my PC? Currently use Asus Xonar DGX.

Not sure with the Asus Xonar DGX, but on my Auzentech X-Fi Forte I have the buttkicker hooked into the front speaker output and have speakers not mute when switching to headphones. Also front speakers set to 'large' so that they output the lower frequencies.
