I've been trying this as I dont have room to do the update and get "unknown command". Has options been removed or changed? null

so the verdict is FTNoIR is just not worth it? I set it up recently mainly to use the occasional time I dont want to fly in VR and found it painful with sluggish tracking and frustrating as hell in the apache with the gun! Would be awesome to find something that can face track reliably, or track points on a hat using a standard webcam etc. any thoughts?

Figured out the problem, when I setup the new version I pointed it to my old openbeta save path not the active DCS one! Thats why nothing was changing! Rookie move Hopefully this help anyone having similar issue with the presets!

I did as outlined, still will not honour the one I select. I select my pancake preset, but for some reason it starts up my VR as per my last run settings in DCS. Just wont work for me, no idea why. Am I supposed to click "Launch VR On" or off everytime?

Thanks for the fantastic update, its tough to cope with change but the new version look promising! I'm having trouble with the presets, I want to have two presets setup, a VR one with all appropriate settings and a pancake one for using my screen and headtracker. I cant seem to figure out for to get those working/setup the GUI is a bit confusing and nothing seems to stick. cheers

Thanks for the fantastic mission. I've been away from DCS for about 6 months and this was perfect for a return to the Apache! Great fun, excellent narrative, simple enough for me to get through it in a single go and remember how to do everything! Bravo!

yep I agree, bit confusing. I'm a WW2 1944 backer and I get the "you already own this product" in my cart so I have no idea if I need to buy it (happy to) or if I have it from the original backing. null

I experienced the same with my rift in the tomcat. Eventually, the occulus software crashed and had to reboot computer to get the headset working again. Works fine without the mod.

This might have been addressed, is there any issues with running this (openxr version) with the new version of open beta and changes to openxr using a rift?

I have one of these, really awesome choice if money is a concern. Good amount of buttons and axis for all the helos. I also use it for planes no dramas Certainly if money is no object the Winwing orion 2 with black shark would be a really good bit of kit especially if you also like to fly jets.
