OK, I can eventually get a stable hover IGE if I keep at the trimming.:smartass:

Is anyone good at hover OGE like at 200 feet.

I would love a track or a video so I can see how it's done.:helpsmilie:

Thanks

If you were really good at hovering normal style and you have that down pat, you could use the rocket pipper to maintain a certain spot on the horizon. this would at least tell you if you're pitching up or down more accurately then the artificial horizon. you could maybe start by hovering next to a tall tower off to your side as a visual point. One of the problems you have is that you don't have ground effect going for you, I don't think the FM is refined enough for this kind of thing yet.

I did a test of this idea, I turned on my gun pipper, aligned it with the horizon and used it as I explained. As said above, however you do this is going to be difficult with no visual reference.

Thanks a bunch, it is good to know it's not just me being a slacker:cheer3nc:

I will try the piper on the horizon idea and a tall tower

Very good suggestions.

Cheers:beer:
