flyboy88 Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Hi, I bought DCS: P51D and Black Shark and Warthog together in a budget bundle. When I first installed P51 it created the DCS World program, through which I can fly the Mustang. Later I installed the other two programs, which both created their own shortcuts. In DCS: World they are not visible however. I also checked the module manager and they are not listed under installed modules. Is this normal? Shouldn't they all be accessible through DCS: World? Thanks!
Yellonet Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Did you get the sims on discs? If so they are probably old versions that are not tied into DCS:W, The old Black Shark (not 2) isn't compatible with DCS, but you can upgrade to BS2 for a lower cost than non upgrade. For A-10C, download the latest installers from this site and then use your serial when installing. Edit: Oh, and welcome :) i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
flyboy88 Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 Yes, I got them on discs. It's just named DCS: Black Shark, but what about Warthog? This one should be tied in right? I checked and it's Version 1.1.0.9 Also, thanks for the warm welcome =)
Yellonet Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Yeah, that's the first Black Shark, that won't tie in to DCS World, but can be upgraded as mentioned. You need to download the latest version of Warthog and install that using your key that you got with the disc. At least I think you can do that. Go to http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en log in and go to Downloads -> modules -> A-10C. Torrent is probably the fastest way to download. i7-2600k@4GHz, 8GB, R9 280X 3GB, SSD, HOTAS WH, Pro Flight Combat Pedals, TIR5
