Anyone using keyboard rudder?

Recommended Posts

If so - how?

I can't get any key to work for rudder left and rudder right.

No movement on pedals on screen or on the controller position graphic.

I don't have any other settings for joystick etc that are conflicting.

I'm doing something stupid but I don't know what.

Have tried various missions, with/without joystick connected.

This is getting weirder - it worked after EB's advice, I had no joystick connected for the test.

If I connect a joystick z and x stop working :(

Help!

Edit: only applies to UH1 - mustang etc work ok with same joystick connected, rudder works with z and x.

I plugged out my HOTAS to test this and for me the pedal trim option is what controls whether I have keyboard pedal input. This is definitely a bug, but once pedal trim is enabled, I have keyboard control with or without a joystick plugged in.

You can try to reset your input profiles to default by deleting (or renaming) the folders inside C:\Users\<NAME>\Saved Gamed\DCS\Config\Input\UH-1H. Maybe that will solve it.

Update - doesn't work for me.

I can get keyboard rudder to work, but never with joystick connected.

Tried making rudder work off joystick buttons - no go.
