louisv Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 There are 2 distinct problems with the Saitek rudders, the first one: axis reversal, is trivial and is fixed by axis tune. Not so with the sticking, which is unique to DCS. Easy to see in axis tune. A solution that was given earlier by deleting a registry entry not only does not work at all, but it destroys all the rudder profiles in DCS to their (f***d up) defaults, that is with joystick and throttle axis commands repeated in the rudder column, and you have to re-load all the rudders in all the aircraft that you have in DCS. Anyway, the registry entry is re-created as soon as you re-enter DCS ! The problem is still whole and is a real pain in P-51D especially trying to steer the thing properly. I wish somebody would take care of this, it has been lying around for years and frankly is not acceptable at this stage.
