I'm confused. I've installed TARGET. In both the GUI and the SCRIPT editor

I've loaded several scripts (from the samples provided), and also

created several of my own.

Here's my confusion point: If I run the scripts, and then either the

Device Analyzer or the Event Viewer I was expecting them to show

some kind of activity if a joystick button or axis was scripted to generate

a 'keystroke' from the button or axis.

Mine doesn't. They just sit there 'dead'. If I press a key on the keyboard

I will see it 'recorded', but nothing from ANY joystick activity.

SHOULD BE SEEING activity, or am not using it properly??

I was expecting that the testing environment would simulate joystick

activity and SHOW some evidenence of it to evaluate the scripting

process.

Where have I gone wrong. Were my expectations wrong or am I doing

it wrong??

If you are seeing nothing then something is wrong. I will assume that the stick is known to function without Target being involved. When you say load a script, does that mean run, or just load into the editor? In the Editor, once you click the run button, there should be no error messages at the bottom and the run button should have turned into a Stop button.

Yes it's a working T-stick-x, and yes when I 'load' a script and run it I get

no error messages, and yes the RUN arrow button does change into a STOP

BUTTON. But other than that NOTHING shows any current activity.

Also the joystick when (USB) is plugged in it works fine in FSX, and

calibrates property. Also whenever it is plugged in/out a short audio

tone is generated.

However, if the joystick is plugged in and you start the TARGET GUI

ay the top of the screen it reports "0 USB CONNECTED". That would

seem significant!

Is your stick a T-1600M like this

or a T Flight Stick X like this?

If it is the latter, then it is not supported by Target.

If it is the first one, are you sure the profiles you are testing are made for that stick? Most of what I recall coming with Target was for the Warthog only, but I could be mistaken.

Sorry. Better I asked sooner rather than later though.

I have the HOTAS version of what you have, along with other sticks, and it would definitely be nice if they were supported. Unfortunately, it is undoubtedly a hardware limitation for which there is nothing we can do.
