Just another note Stalker, PAPI and VASI (also called VASIS) is not the same. VASIS is as u said visual aproach slope indicator system and PAPI stands for precision approach path indicator. I can't tell what they use on carrier though(not my field of studies, I study airport design and management) but just stating that PAPI and VASISare not the same(theres also T-VASIS and APAPI, ok ill stop, going too far lol sorry).

Neither can I.. I think they sort of work- meaning they light up green on approach. But you still can't see em until close in. Having this thing work 100% would be a terrific addition.

There'd be a lot of terrific additions that would make the Su33 and naval combat in general much better - unfortunately, looks like we'll have to wait a little while for them.

Lomac doesn't manage this kind of lighting well - trying to sort it out properly could be a challenge. The light is supposed to project, and at the moment there doesn't seem to be any way of doing that in Lomac.

You say lights dont project but the Nose wheel light projects very nicely. Or so it seems

Different kind of projection - I dunno, maybe I'm using the wrong word. The landing lights throw light onto a surface from a short distance, it's kind of a soft light. The glideslope indicator should throw a bright light into the cockpit from much, much further away . . . up to a couple of kilometres, perhaps.

Lomac seems to be good at soft lights and shading - not throwing sharp lights over distance.

You'd probably have to cheat to do that in any case - there's only so much you can do with pixel brightness when you're talking about the number of pixels the light will cover when displayed at a distance. Hey . . . is this what the HDR stuff is all about?

Alfa it"s a bit hard to find a good lomac pilot in croatia, so i"m satisfied when i can talk to him.But the rest of the things will be on English i promise!:D:D:D

Real pilot tell me lights on CV are very exential for land to navy.

Lomac is the only one simulator with aicraft carrier. In MS Flight simulator all runway have VASIS or PAPI lights....

I hope use lights for land also in Lomac.

Thanks
