Hi to all,

as far I understand in the ME map view some information like structures, forest, road, rivers etc are hidden at certain scales and visibile at other scales.

I would like first to modify those scale limits, for example to make small town city area and roads visibile from higher scales, like 1:500.000;

Then, I would like to add another "overlay" (if it's the proper term) for scales equal or lower than 1:100.000, that will be placed just over the basemap and provide an higher resolution altimetric rapresentation of the terrain features.

The first question is: I understand correctly what is going on in the ME map? are there some kind of overlay that are shown or not depending on map scale?

The second question is: are those scale boundaries editable by lua, maybe by a config file or similar?

The third question is: Is it possibile to add another "overlay"?

Thanks in advance :)

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
