Unlimited weapons only works for rockets?

I am doing some weapons training and I like to have unlimited weapons/ammo to do this. It seems that only the rockets are unlimited, as the door gunners machine guns and the dual M134 miniguns run out of ammo and do not restock themselves. It would be nice if this issue could be fixed.
