I purchased DCS: A-10C on steam because it was on sale and i read that you could use the steam key to activate the module for DCS World. But after downloading DCS World and the module when i enter the key it tells me it's invalid.

Would it have anything to do with it being a different version than the one on steam? I noticed there was a previous version 1.1.1.1.

That key should work. I have seen a few reports so you do not appear to be alone with this problem - it is being investigated.

Have you tried starting the game in steam? What worked for me was launching a mission using the steam version of the game and then try to activate the game with DCSW. After that I applied this patch and the activation in DCSW worked. Hope this helps. :)

Reinstalled DCS World and A-10C, i'm not sure if this is why it worked but when it asked if i wanted to update to version 1.2.4 i said no. It accepted the key this time but now i'm not sure how to force it to update to 1.2.4.

EDIT: Never mind, it says it is version 1.2.4, god knows what it was asking me to update then. But its working anyway.
