silverstearman Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) Hello, I allow myself to subject some remarks with an aim to you of being able to help to improve simulator DCS World UH-1H I have WIN7 64 First point After the automatic update by Starting - Eagle Dynamics - Update DCS world to pass from the 1.2.4 to the 1.2.5, when I launch simulation UH-1H I go in options, I do not have more any posting in Controls to reach attributions of the axes and the orders. Second point Difficulty in fixing shakings of the image cockpit of the UH-1H when the ordering of zoom is on the axis slider of X52. Third point Old french pilot of helicopter and impassioned simulation, I am allowed to speak about the following points to know if it is possible to improve them on the UH-1H. The visualization of operation of the ball does not appear good to me in a balanced turn, it seems to me that the displacement of the ball is not involved enough in the direction of the turn by the action of cyclic in rolling. There is too much prevalence of the action of the rudder which pushes back the ball. The unhooking of the principal rotor Always appears a little too present to me in certain phases of the flight. This very light swinging in rolling. 3 enclosures I have a post in: English - DIGITAL Simulator Fights - Third Projects Party - Belsimtek - Modifications of Saitek X52 and the new curves for UH-1H Cordially silversteaman dixit birdogOptions Controls not of posting.zipanomaly in controls.zipvibrations instrument panel.zip Edited July 30, 2013 by silverstearman
Mattressi Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Second point Difficulty in fixing shakings of the image cockpit of the UH-1H when the ordering of zoom is on the axis slider of X52. Sorry, I can't help you with your other points, but I might be able to with this point. If I understand correctly, you're saying that the screen shakes when you use the Saitek slider to zoom? If so, that's a very common problem. The problem is the X52 slider has a "jitter" or "shaking" problem. If you open the Saitek control panel, you'll see that after you move the slider a little, it will start to jump around a small amount. The way to fix this is to set up the slider axis to zoom in stages. This thread (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=79562) talks about how to do that. Specifically this post (http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1292722&postcount=5). If you go to the slider in the control options and "tune" it, you'll get the same screen as in the post I linked to. Then just copy his settings and the image shake will be gone. However, it will mean that when you use the slider, your zoom will not be continuous. Moving the slider will cause your zoom to "jump" from one level to the next. Personally, I prefer to just zoom by holding down a button and zoom out by holding down another button.
