Dudikoff Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 i have this bug when creating a campaign with static objects. I f I put a bunch of airplanes on an airport and in the next mission put some other planes, the first one will remain also and they will overlap. Can this be fixed in the next patch or is it a "feature"? ;) i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg. Once the target sum is reached, I'll be off to somewhere nice I promise not to post from. I'd buy that for a dollar!
Dudikoff Posted January 16, 2006 Author Posted January 16, 2006 *BUMP* C'mon, developers.. This is really a very annoying bug for campaign makers. Dudikoff Posted January 21, 2006 Author Posted January 21, 2006 *BUMP* This is really annoying. It seems that this problem is due to carrying over the map status to the next mission after the first one is successfully completed. While this may be good in some cases (we don't have to populate the bases for every mission9, it is very annoying in some other. I have a suggestion regarding this. You should put an option (besides the hide option) named "persistent". If it is selected, the object will appear in the subsequent missions. If not, it will only appear in current mission. I see there have been no replies. Does anyone from ED actually reads this or should I start writing emails? i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg.
