follow/escort task stops working as soon as helicopter moves

I attached a very simple mission (just a Cobra "following" a UH-1H). If you start the mission, you will notice that the cobra stops following the UH-1H as soon as the UH-1H starts moving. BUG, please fix!

Can't entirely reproduce the problem you are having. In this context a track would be more helpful than a miz as I can only guess whats happening on your end without a track.

 

All I see is that the Cobra goes to the airbase after take-off hold pattern as it should while it waits for the player to take off. It is actually very similar to how AI operate, they will orbit until the player takes off and will then join the formation.

 

If I spawn in the air the Cobra follows as normal, likewise it works just fine if I give the client aircraft additional waypoints.

Thanks for your response. Here is my track.

 

In this track, the cobra will dive right into the ground after my take-off. Most of the times, however, it will just endlessly orbit around the location it was at the time I took off.

Humm, well I think I know whats causing the aircraft to crash. Simply put it tries to get to your altitude without much thought, thus it crashes. Thanks for the track.
