Activation problems

Hi, i have black shark DVD edition with code, but i have changed my computer several times, so i have the 5 activations already used is there anithing can i do to reset the five installs, i just bought a new computer and i cant install the game.

If you used up 5 activations because you did not de-activate before installing again, you should still have 5 activations left. Have a look at the Quickstart Manual, there should all procedures be described, including how to check how many activations you have left.

 

Maybe you have some kind of other problem here - you should provide some more detailed informations here.

Hi, yes i do not know i could deactivate until now, so no i no deactivate the installations, i installed in my new computer and when i insert the code it says that i have used all 5 installs. Im on Windows 7 Ultimate, im going to see the things you point at me, what more information can i tell for more information?

Five activations used up should not result in you being unable to install it. Read the Quickstart Manual of how to check how many activations you really have used and how many activations really are still available.

 

Then, what is the exact error message you get and where does it occur in the the process of installing it?

 

And finally - for now - did I understand you correctly, you try to install the DVD stand alone version of Blackshark (version 1.1.x.x)? If so, did you consider installing the newer DCS Blackshark2 and DCS World?

It sounds like he is trying to install the older BS1. It does not have the same version of the DRM we are using with the current products AKA the activation's don't automatically accumulate after 30 days.

 

I believe for the original BS1, the only way to get more activations was to submit a support ticket and ask for some. ED has always been generous in giving them out. The newer DRM that we use for the A-10C and BS2 automatically grants a new activation AFTER the last one has been used after 30days.

Hi, thanks for the respons, yes is blackshark 1.0 and the message is that i have used all activations available, I can install it completely but when i try to use it the activation screen appears. i will send a ticket and see what happens.
